Title: High points (when refs did not get involved)
Post by: mviale on December 29, 2010, 10:27:24 PM
1) Vander blue had a great game tonight. looked a little shaky in 1st half but came together.  This was a breakout game.
2) Buycks very solid and crunch time shots
3) Otule - kept us in it at one point
4) Crowder makes 2 FTs in crunch time - great heart
5) Good effort from Fulce

Gardner and Junior need some work.

+1 on the positives...

loved how they ripped on Crowders FT percentage and then he sank both

See I know Buycks isn't a true point and had four turnovers tonight...but Junior was 0-1 with no assists.  He just doesn't do anything to get the offense moving when he is out there.

I'd add that on a 2 on 1 breakaway led by DJO he actually passed the ball and we got an easy basket.  I almost fell out of my chair.

His stroke looked better.

Vander played very nicely.

Otule was wonderful.

Unfortunately turnovers again at key times were a killer.

Our rebounding went down hill whenever Gardner went in.

I thought Fulce played well. Crowder was very active tonight. Also, I think Vander is continuing to improve. He will be special. This team has so much potential and has flashes where they are great, but then there is just times where you shake your head and wonder what they are thinking.

I liked when he got the steal and Vander was slightly ahead of him.. Vander was like, well he's not passing it to me, so I will just moving screen this guy behind me...  DJO dunk.
