Title: Sports Fandom Misery
Post by: dw3dw3dw3 on December 12, 2010, 03:08:29 PM
This has been a brutal month for to be an MU fan from Wisconsin.....
- MU has no quality wins with the next opportunity 17 days away.
- MU lacks an identity and optimism for this year is starting to wane a bit.
- Packers just lost to the Lions and need to win out to make the playoffs for the most part
- Bears are in first place
- Notre Dame has a good basketball team
- Bucks off-season moves haven't panned out and they are 4 games under 500
- Wisconsin fans are flying high with football and basketball

To top it off personally, my fantasy teams suck and I have to work with people from Chicago.

That is brutal. Bears higher than Pack, MU sucking against quality opponents, and No Dick doing better than MU (which is very galling)

But, Hey, cheer up, we have two cupcakes being served up, so we can get our swoon level for the Warriors back up there.

Pretty much feel the same, although I don't care about Notre Dame or Wisconsin Football being good.  Bucks are improving lately, so that's a plus.  Packers loss was awful.

Well...I'm a Badger football fan...and my wife went to UW-Whitewater and they are playing for the D3 championship again.

But yeah, otherwise not too good.

Whitewater is sure a powerful football team.  They're always up there (as well as some other school I forgot).

Well, maybe the incredibly soft Packers beat writers will finally hold that idiot McCarthy accountable for his play calling now.

At what point does Division III stop having playoffs and just these two play each other to save time?

Brewers picked up Shaun Marcum. eh? eh?

MU and the Packers are requiring me to place undue expectations on this years Brewers team.

Hey Whitewater had to win two or three on the road this year.

Yeah, and Packers fans, come get YOUR MEDICINE up in Foxboro next Sunday night.  The Patriots are in complete buzzsaw mode, so good luck.

A draw play with less than 1:30, after a timeout...

Seriously?  What a dolt.
