Does anybody know why Bill Neary didn't show for the 30th anniversary celebration on Saturday? I've heard two very different reasons: 1. he holds a grudge from his own senior night and 2. he's upset about getting jobbed on his seats at the BC.
Just wondering--always liked the guy.
I don't know, but the Urinal said in its Sunday story that ALL 11 players attended the ceremony. Had they checked, they would have realized there were 12 players on that team, and Neary wasn't there.
I beleive that it was reported that his son had a basketball game that night, but he was in attendance earlier in the day?
I believe it was said that he was at the party the night before but not the game due to his son playing a playoff game, and that the only one not to attend anything was Majerus
And Majerus was in Madison earlier in the day. Erin Andrews was able to make it. What's Marjerus' excuse! :)

Correct. He was at everything on Friday and during the day Saturday. But Catholic Memorial had a game at 7pm. It is a little strange though, that Neary didn't make it, when Craig Butrym was there and his son is on the same team as Neary's.
FWIW, Neary's son had 8 points, and Butrym's had 12.
