Title: Butler
Post by: Clam Crowder on December 07, 2010, 10:09:01 PM
If he is hurt I am going to be really angry that he was even in the game at that point. It better just be a rolled ankle

didn't see anything that resembled an ankle injury.  Just landed hard, seemed like he was able to walk it off.

If he's not okay, I'm going to personally go find Buzz Williams and kick his ass.  HE BETTER BE OKAY.

+1. Buzz said in his post-Longwood presser that he thought he needed to manage minutes better. Hope he gets it down for Bucky.

You can't have the mindset as a player or coach not to play someone, thinking they might get hurt.

I believe part of why Jimmy was still in was for the very reason of getting ready for Bucky.  Games provide the best environment for excecution/practice and evaluation.  Buzz is trying to get the team as prepared as possible for the upcoming Big East season and Bucky.  Some things you cannot simulate in practice.  That said, of course no one would want to see our best player get hurt at the 8 minute mark left in a game we are ahead by 25 points.

Agree...basketball isn't quite football to where keeping your guys in exposes them to high degree of risk..
