Hey guys. I am adding the jerseys below to the wiki. Does anyone know the exact years these jerseys were used?

I believe it was one year only, 1998-99. El Deano's last season.
Yeah, those have to be either 1997-1998 or 1998-1999, because when Crean took over, the uniforms did not look like that.

97-98 was Hutch's last season, and I am almost positive they still had these-

Crean got a Nike deal when he took over in 99, so the jerseys changed.
Thanks guys.
Did they have a white jersey to go along with these or was it just Gold-Home and Blue-Away?

They had a white one as well.

Cordell Henry wasn't at MU until '98-'99 so it couldn't have been '97-'98.
Two words: Fake Jerseys.
Nah, seriously I have no idea. Actually look like throwbacks, imo. Has Marquette ever had a "Throwback Night?"

Yeah, you're right. I know we did have a white jersey along with the gold and navy. Maybe this was from Crean's first year??
Was the font on the white jersey just plain navy blue with no outline like these?
It is amazing how far the jerseys have come in such a short time.

They did have a throwback night, (maybe around 2002 for the 25th Anniversary of the NCAA Championship?) where they wore the 1977 white jerseys untucked with the gold shorts. It was pretty cool.

They might done that at some point, but I'm almost positive it wasn't around 2002.

Could be. For some reason I can picture a photo of Crawford or Pieper playing in a throwback. Maybe someone can find a pic.
It was definitely crawford in the untucked throwbacks. I remember the picture too.
Also - didn't Cordell wear #4 also at one point? I forget what the sequence was - maybe he was #10 first, while Cliff was still at MU, and then switched?
EDIT: Throwbacks were for MU vs. Houston at the end of the 96-97 season.

Pretty sure Cordell rocked #10 first, and then took over next year with #4 after Jon "40pts against Memphis" Cliff graduated.

Nice work on the box score. Interesting that the recap has MU winning 67-67 ;)
I believe Cordell switched to #4 his senior season, the same year that Diener wore Cordell's old number, 10.
I wish I coulda won one of those jerseys... :(

John "37 points against Memphis" Cliff. :P And yes that is the reason.

Looks like a very traditional team
can we add this to the jersey project? 69 away
I believe that is the picture used on George Thompson's banner at the BC.

That is most excellent. We're used to seeing the home version.
That wayback link just made my night, because I found this-

10 year old MUfan12 went nuts when Hutch hit that shot. Still one of my favorite MU players, so clutch.

Oh man, I was working on a science project that I broke half of celebrating after he drained that shot. Man, Hutch was one of my all time favorites. Just used to light it up.

No wonder we lost back then! "Traditional..." certainly not an AL trademark!
