From ESPN:
QuoteWindhorstESPN: Brian Windhorst
During shootaround, Dwyane Wade made LeBron stop and admire his retired Marquette number in rafters at Bradley Center.
Too bad he couldn't show off the Great Alaskan Shootout banner too!
Yeah and LeBron showed Wade his MVP trophy
Yeah, then Wade showed Lebron his Finals MVP trophy and championship ring.
Banners and trophies are for pussys. Let's compare bank accounts.
And then Wade lifted his shorts to expose...Indiana shorts.
Bucks fans boo-ing Dwade on free throws... don't know if i agree with that

Wade heard chants of "Diener's better" when he took foul shots. Travis Diener and Wade were teammates on Marquette's 2003 Final Four team.
haha

Kind of loses some of the sting with Diener having to play overseas because he couldn't cut it in the NBA.
Come, Squad Six! You're better than that! ;)
dang, what a low score! i guess they must also be stopping during gametime to admire the rafter banners...
and what a lame chant... ::rolls eyes::

Yes, kind of lame. The only good Diener chant was the obligatory
Our Diener is better than yours when we played DePaul.

You do realize that Bucks fans don't have to be Marquette fans, right? :D
Hadn't seen it posted but the Journal Sentinel did another article on Wade returning to MKE.
http://www.jsonline.com/sports/bucks/111425504.html
Highlight from the article:
"It will always be special," said Wade. "Eight years later. When I walked out of Milwaukee and out of Marquette . . . to come back, it's always special. I got an opportunity to go to the Al McGuire Center (Sunday night for some individual shooting) and it was special going in there with some of my teammates. Just seeing some of the things that I was a part of building here. Seeing the tradition. It just makes you feel good. It makes you feel proud to be from this university, from this town. So it's always special."
On Sportscenter, the Bucks/Heat highlights began with a shot of the Marquette retired number banners. Nice to see a MU mention!

It is nice, but it shouldn't be up there. Degree first. Retired number second.
I can't imagine what some people would say if Buzz Williams retired a number of a guy who never graduated!
The diener chant is absolutely embarrassing. I thought my fellow Milwaukee fans would have more class than that.

I don't see what is classless? They are Bucks fans getting on a Heat player?
They still should have been taunting Bron Bron bout Delante going balls deep in his mom. Better have my donuts.

I agree. I think it's funny and I'd wager that Dwyane did, too.
Then I am in the minority I guess.

It wasn't classless, but it wasn't clever or funny either.
I'm sorely disappointed that there isn't a slow, "Delooonte....Delooonte..." chant throughout every Heat road game.
It's not all about the bennies. Everyone in the NBA has them. Ask Barkley or Kenny Smith what is more important. The Ring is the Thing. Without the Ring you had a good time making money and accomplishing nothing. Because they all play for the Ring or did the Heat big 3 get together just because they liked each other?
