Title: Time Warner Sports HD- 12/14
Post by: MUfan12 on December 05, 2010, 10:53:12 PM
Stumbled upon this tidbit tonight-

On 12/14, TWC Sports will move from channel 307 to 332, TWC Sports HD will be added to 1332, and NESN and YES will join Sports Pass.

Just in time for BE play... very nice.

I hope they use the same technology used for Saturday's online feed for the Longwood game

Sounds like it, but don't get too excited.  I have both of those (live in Boston), and the only thing of value on NESN are Sox and Bruins games (which will get blacked out).  As for YES, maybe some Arsenal games and the 4 hour simulcast of the Mike Francesa show.

I hope it wouldn't have a blackout in Milwaukee.

Is there a link?

I have no link, but you always will have to pay for out of market live sporting events.  At least, that is the way it has always been.  For example, I have DirecTV with a sports package in Massachusetts that includes the YES network.  I get all the YES programming, but they blackout all Knicks and Rangers games.  Same thing with MASN, a Baltimore-area network, and all the Fox Sports regional channels.
