When is the MU ticket office going to start selling single game tickets to the public for the UW-MU game? I know it said only season-ticket holders and gold plan but there is alot of tickets left.
Umm .. highly doubtful there are "alot of tickets left" (sic).
In years' past, tickets were sold out the day they went on sale to Season Ticket Holders. Obviously, this year they allowed STHs to order 4, then 4 more, which was indeed unusual.
Pretty sure it is sold out with the exception of a smattering of tickets MU holds on to.
If you need 2 or 4 together in 415 or 407 Row P for $40/ea, let me know.
there are still single game tickets available. i bought some friday, including the lower bowl. i was able to get tickets in the same section and even 2 in the same row. you may have to be a season ticket holder tho

That was always true in the past, but they jacked up the price for the "premium" game tickets this year.
Oh, gosh, they jacked up the price to $45 for the hottest ticket in the entire state of Wisconsin?
Well, no way will they even sell the place out! In this economy? $45 is a deal breaker!

In the past, I've always bought as many tickets as I could for the UW game through the STH process, 8-10 extras some years, and then sorted out who used them later. Sometimes I got paid back, sometimes I didn't. I'm sure many STHs did the same thing.
$45 still isn't bad for this game if someone is buying the tickets for themselves. But for a STH buying seats when they aren't sure who is going, it becomes a disincentive.
Just called the ticket office, the public can now buy single game tickets.
I believe they've had single tickets on sale to the public for UW in previous years, which is what it looked like was left when I checked last night. For whatever reason accessing the game through the main Ticketmaster portal says no tickets left, but going through the portal from gomarquette.com (https://oss.ticketmaster.com/html/pack_planlist.htmI?l=EN&team=marquette&selID=179) still has some left (though you can't select from the interactive map).
I just checked .. yes, there are SINGLE seats available, meaning one seat. Pretty much every "sellout" game in history has some single seats available.
If you are interested in 2 seats, well, buy some walkie talkies, because you're gonna sit a few sections apart.
If you're interested in a pair together, PM me.
There is 80 tickets left for the GOLD PLAN which includes the Wisconsin game. (Those are NOT single seats)
Just bought a $25 single. wooot!
thanks for the info ;D
Still some pairs available through the Marquette Ticketmaster site. Just pulled up 2 together in 442 if anyone is interested
;D
On ticketmaster there is sets of two being sold. Those must be the leftovers from the gold plan.
Need two tickets for Saturday's game... Any lowers available at a "reasonable" price? Thanks!
