hasn;t happened yet. I know Gardner's been hurt and we're lacking in bigs, but i would think this would be an effective combo, especially since gardner seems to have real problems with much taller players. Otule would be able to mark up with the other teams big, giving gardner a mismatch at the 4.
Interesting thought and Buzz may consider it with bigger teams given our rebounding issues...but don't think they're ready...not to mention they'd both foul out in 9 minutes.

I feel like they get in foul trouble because they have no inside help. With two bigs in, at least you could challenge shots without simply hacking the other teams center.
I would like to see how the Jumbo lineup would look in one of these cupcake games.
1- Cadougan
2- Jimmy
3- Jae
4- Gardner
5- Otule
Hopefully playing Zone on D...

How about DJO at the 2 with Jimmy shifting to the 3? With your lineup, it would really be only Jimmy that could create on his own (I don't feel like Jae has shown much of that) and Cadougan and Otule are not very threatening offensively. It would be a bit smaller than your "Jumbo lineup" but I think would be more productive.
I like it HoopsMalone, but let's go all the way and let Vander bring the ball up the court.
Blue, Jimmy, Jae, Gardner, Otule = average 6-foot-6.8, 237 pounds - would have been 3rd tallest in D1 last year behind FloSt and Duke
Actual team last year averaged 6-foot-2.7, 7th shortest lineup in D1.
To actually rank as 3rd tallest those 5 would have had to play all the minutes, but still fun to think about trying them for a few minutes once.
