Only one of Wisconsin's opponents this year has scored more than 58 (fixed - thanks 1001) points (UNLV who won 68-65). I realize that they haven't had great competition, but I'm wondering, are the low scores just because of their slow down style, or because of their good defense. I haven't really watched enough of these games to know.
PrairieView A&M W99-55
North Dakota W85-53
UNLV L68-65
Manhattan W50-35
Boston College W65-55
Notre Dame L58-51
North Carolina State currently UW winning 80-40 (!!) (NC State lost to Georgetown by 15 -- not sure what to think about this comparison, just pointing it out)
ND 58pts

Tonight's UW-madison team is the one that scares me. The one that actually makes shots and is destroying their opponent on the boards.
UW is damn good.

UW was damn good tonight. I'm not convinced quite yet.
That said, they're better than MU at this point.
Karl Ravech on ESPN just said that Wisconsin got 3 games worth of points tonight. I'm glad we are getting them at the BC.

They've lost to 7-0 UNLV on the road by 1 point and 8-0 Notre Dame on a neutral court where they were up double digits in the second half.
