People need to remember that, of our current 8 man rotation, 5 of them - Blue, Cadougan, Crowder, Otule, and Gardner - are essentially playing their first season in D1. It's hard to play consistent basketball when over half of your rotation is doing it for the first time. While the Gonzaga loss was disappointing, and the UWM game closer than we would have liked, the fact of the matter is that this is a young team playing inconsistent basketball. It's also a young team that gave Duke a run for their money. Patience, people.
Patience is a virtue....at least that is what my Mom told me all of the time.
Buzz talked about this after the UWM game...said he's failed to be patient enough and essential teach them at their readiness level. In the long run I think Buzz will balance his recruiting classes well with true freshmen, JUCO players and transfers to ensure more consistency.
Patience is a virtue. Posses it if you can. Seldom found in Women, almost never in a Man.
So said Sister Mary Eudora, my fourth grade teacher at Epiphany School. I always thought she was being kinda hard on the boys in the class. Whatever.
