DJO listed as one of best shooters in the country (based on last year).  I hope he regains his form tonight.

He is when he's on. Let's just hope he rediscovers that form sooner rather than later.

His shot continues to be off and the charge he took was a 4 point play against us.  give up the ball on the break.

Leading the Big East in 3pt % (47%) isn't enough for you? Give him some time. He just needs to find his stroke. He's too good to keep shooting this way.

Unfortunately that play was HUGE.  Two MU players filling the lane, not giving it up is really inexcusable.  It was a 4 point swing.(who knows Butler might have ended up even with an "and 1")  That is the type of play that we made last year.

This is my pet peeve with DJO.  He has hogged the ball on fast breaks at least 8 times so far this year, and on 7 we lost the ball or got a foul called on us.  That was a critical point in the game tonight, and clearly he should have passed the ball - the announcers were even saying it.  Buzz should be ripping on him about this - it can cost us a game (and certainly broke the momentum tonight).  Frustrating.

Did you read the entire post? Yeah, he needs to figure it out. Yeah, he is one of the best shooters in the country.

Then, by definition, he is not one of the best shooters in the country this season.

So if Steve Novak has a 5 game slump, he's suddenly not a great shooter?

He has a tendency of doing that...it was a point of discussion last year and in the exhibition game as well.

Wrong.  From this post alone I figure you to be the biggest idiot in the world.  Is that fair to surmise?

That charge was under the basket (thus a poor call), but, yes, he should have given it up.

In DJO's defense, as I remember the play he charged into Mason Plumlee, and the other two MU players were already at the hoop, so he would have had to pass the ball over or through Plumlee to get it to someone else.  He also may have been trying to draw a foul on Plumlee in order to slow Plumlee down somewhat.
