Anybody notice that when ESPN advertises for the 3rd place game for Tuesday that the video is of us. Come on Marquette, lets win this one and play for 1st. (nevertheless, it is a good highlight, DJO's dunk from the UWGB game, and some other shots)
Considering that on ESPN's Streak for the Cash, over 80% are expecting Duke's winning margin to be more than the total points scored by Jimmy Butler, it's no surprise. The Dick Vitale network is always sucking up to Duke, why change it now? That's okay, they can still have their Duke game on Tuesday, it just won't be the late game.

During one of the weekend games Dickie V had, he said Coach K was the best coach - period - any sport any level. I'm not sure I could argue against that, but I thought, "Of course Dookie V would say that."

Not sure I'd argue it either, but that doesn't mean that Duke can't lose to us. They did it just a few years back in KC. But either way, ESPN completely sucks up to Duke and Coach K. Even when they are the best team in the land (like last year) and have the best coach in the land (they probably do), that doesn't mean what should be a balanced media outlet should pander to them incessantly.
If Coach K wins both games, I believe he notches his 800th win at Duke

Oh ye of little faith---Coach K will not win both games--he will lose the first game.

The problem is that you should stop thinking of ESPN as a "balanced media outlet." They haven't been that for years.
Anybody know the line?

Are there any "Balanced media outlets" out there? I think they do a good job taking into consideration the fact that they are in existance to make money...

Willie Warrior I love that comment and it sounds like it came from someone I know. You would not happen to be a Desing would ya? Anyways, I love that comment
