Anybody know how severe it is, or how long he will be out?
Rosiak tweeted that Buzz was mum about it, he hoped he would have an update later tonight or tomorrow.
I was very worried during the game becuz somebody was spreading the rumor that he broke his collar bone. I hope that they are very wrong
On post game radio, Buzz told Homer his initial impression is "mild sprain." And during the game, Homer and Mac said Gardner was on the bench with ice on the shoulder.

Yeah, they had the ice wrapped on pretty good with an ace bandage. They took that off before a timeout during the 1st half and took Gardner to the locker-room.
Before he was out of the game he could still move his arm around pretty well (the D and O posession after he hurt himself and before a whistle blew). He was avoiding using the arm to push on other players, though. Whenever there was a lull in the action he would drop his arm to his side and his hurt left shoulder would drop way down like he was trying his hardest to relax his muscles completely. He looked like he was in a lot of pain, but when action started he hardened the eff up. He seems to be one tough dude!
He played at least 2 possessions in obvious pain. Let hope the injury is minor. Buzz won't take a chance.
Mild enough to suit up on Monday?
I really pray that he is o.k. I hope this has nothing to do with the "Marquette big man curse."
He looked like he was in pain sitting on the bench.
The curse of Kinsella continues

We saw some sort of tems units (sp?), which is used to stimulate the nerves. The staff removed it with two minutes left in the game.
TENS. Electrical stim for pain control
Thanks for the clarification. I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV. I only know I have used those in the past for muscle pain.
Todd Rosiak's twitter says Gardner was limited in practice today and is questionable for the game.

I take that as good news. My worry was a separation or broken collar bone. Having done that myself, not fun and takes weeks to get over.
See: Stafford, Matthew and Romo, Tony

Having done which? You mention both a separation and a broken collar bone.
Ox is with the team in KC, so evidently it isn't severe enough to prevent him from traveling. To me, that's a good sign.

I did both at the same time...separated the shoulder and fractured my collarbone
Did Gardner make the trip to KC?
He's in a boot...
QuoteFreshman forward Davante Gardner practiced on a limited basis on Sunday, and is officially listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the No. 1-ranked Duke Devils in the CBE Classic at the Sprint Center.
Sunday's practice was in KC so he's definitely there with the team. Also his twitter says he is there.

just like you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.
His foot is fine, I was making fun of all of the panic reports about players in boots.
On espn.com's preview of the game, Davante is probable.

I understood the satire / irony. Still, one uses teal, or one risks being taken literally. ::)
