Boy was I happy with the starting lineup! DJO forcing the action a little bit....
Definitely a better starting lineup.
Like what I'm seeing from Buycks. Pouring the points in and making some good passes...I'm in the minority here, but I'll take a little less of the "floor general" from my point guard for a little more of an offensive game, so long as there's some efficiency.

Agree...as long as Buycks can still score from the point position..all good with him as starter at PG..DJO does need to get it together tho!!
Is it me or does Wardle look like TC with a buzz cut??
Why does it seem that Brian Wardle has many of TC's mannerisms down?

creepy.
DJO doesn't look good so far. Forcing it again instead of letting it come to him a little. Buycks looks real good tonight.
Just watched Ewill on D three times down in a row. Looks good, nice box outs, definitely has a sense of urgency on the def end. I think buzz has gotten thru to him...

How's DJO now! WOW
DJO is 1 for 5 from field, 0 for 2 from free throw and two turnovers in 9 minutes. Out of sync. But that dunk was ESPN Top Ten.
Crowder is a stud. Blue is a stud.

I take that back... That was terrible Ewill

Just had a dribble turnover, then foul. Buzz just yanked him....
Did DJO just dunk on someone, Homer just went crazy!!!
Where's Gardner??
That DJO dunk might make top 10 tonight on Sportscenter...and Wardle must be wathing TC iSO cams because it gets stranger and stranger. Good news he might be able to get his job in a year or so if UWGB can ever get good
I think Ox is going to be a late half/second half type guy
Does it seem like Butler needs to be more involved in the offense?

I liked the Clay Matthews "fear the hair" bodybuilding pose by DJO! The ref did talk to him about it.
Ox with early foul trouble (two). He shouldn't have fouled the smaller player out on the perimeter. He is a freshmen....
Half....
Buycks - 4 of 5, 2 of 2 from 3, 3reb, 4 ast, 1 steal
Crowder - 4 of 7, 1of 1 from 3, 5 reb, 1 block
DJO - 3 of 8, 1 of 2 from 3, 3 reb, 1 ast
Butler 7 of 7 from the line
Crowder is a difference maker. He keeps it up, another double-double. Much better team with him on the floor.
Buycks has looked real solid tonight. I like what Vander is doing an the way hes scoring, even his charge was a nice pass dispite the foul. Jimmy not shooting much but making his free throws and as a team we improved after a terrible start.
DJO started rough but hes being aggressive and should be just fine.
Only real complaint are all the traveling turnovers and a few missed rebounds to give them more points then what they should have.
yeah, i think crowder fills a gap right now that no one else really can. hes got a unique mix of speed and size where is isnt at all slower or clumsier to fill little niches up front and get paint points. i just hope that against more skilled big men those gaps stay open.
Vander having his best night offensively so far..and another good all around game. I'm disappointed thus far with my guy, Reggie Smith - he's got two TOs and nothing else.
We did see a great pass from Davante to Crowder out of the zone defense..nice high low game between those 2. Crowder, as has been mentioned, is a difference maker. Great basketball IQ...much like Vander.

Agreed - but just seems his coordination is a bit off. Thinking too much perhaps. Don't know why, but that's what it seems like.
Hard to complain with a 20pt lead though.
DJO needs that killer instinct. I don't see it in him yet. Buycks, however, is showing it tonight.
EDIT: DJO also seems very out of control still - IMO.
DJO a little selfish on that breakaway. Right back to Crowder and it is a layup.
He seems to be really out of control / pressing the issue much more than I remember from last year...???
Wow, what happened in second half. Sloppy and only 6 points scored in 6 minutes.
This is sloppy. If we play like this on Monday we will lose by 25. Or am I overreacting?

Overreacting. Probably would only lose by about 14.
we are 19 of 31 from the line right now...
Crowder has 17 pts and 9 rebounds. He is player of the game so far
The thought has crossed my mind that Crowder may end up with more RPG and PPG than Butler this year...

First half - no.
Second half -yes. GB playing us even.
This free throw issue is going to haunt them if something is not done.
Loved Erik Williams catch, shoot and swish just outside the right elbow at the two minute mark in the second half. Can't wait to see more of that out of him.

I could not disagree more. Erik Williams took a MISIB (Most Inefficient Shot In Basketball) and he got lucky. One of the worst things in the world is positive feedback on a dumb decision.
Not to jump on you, but spreading the word about how the long jumper just inside the arc is the MOST INEFFICIENT SHOT IN BASKETBALL is one of my goals for the year.
I absolutely love it when our opponents take a MISIB and make it. Because then they think that shot is going to fall, and it's a long term loser.

Seemed to me it was from right around the elbow, maybe just past. In rhythm and squared up in D1 basketball, seems like a pretty good shot to get. I agree with your premise though.
