well that is not logan vander velden....in fact i see Logan every once in a while...he is living in Fort Wayne and works with the Spiece AAU program out of the Spiece fieldhouse in FW.

In fact if anyone is ever in fort wayne u need to take a half an hour and go see the Spiece Fieldhouse.  Thye have put together sort of an Indiana basketball hall of fame of memoribilia/museum and the place has 8 of the nicest courts u will ever see.  clearly one of the crown jewels of gyms a really neat place to check out.  They host the run and slam event each MAy..one of the premier AAu events in the country

You're a good man, Dimes but I have managed to avoid Ft Wayne for more than 40 years and I don't think a Gym will get me to change that streak. A weekend halibut fishing in the Georgia Strait or touring a gym in Ft Wayne? Tough call.

Again, nary a Mr T or porn star in sight. Not a lot of distinction there.

Both of IAmMarquette's parents are UW-GB alums. My dad says this is the only time his Marquette fanhood is split.

Split fanhood? Can that be sutured? It's gotta hurt something fierce.

Interesting tidbit... the school doesn't have a football team because Vince Lombardi protested, saying he didn't want the Green Bay Packers to share their fan base.

Logan's pic must have been photoshopped like a college app brochure, b'cuz the dude is white like the driven snow. Just saying', no racial overtones implied.

So why didn't he protest Madison having a football team?

My recollection is that it wasn't so much a protest, as it was advice thinking that they would have trouble generating a fanbase with the Packers around.  I don't think in the mid-60s that Lombardi was all that concerned about UWGB football.

Bio for A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila:
Scotty seems like the perfect guy.  He is a tennis coach by day and a singer and songwriter by night.  Yet above all, this guy from Green Bay, Wisconsin says his biggest asset is his sense of humor, as he swears it is the best way to make a girl fall for him.  Scotty is one of the 15 straight guys vying for the love of entertainer, model and MySpace personality Tila Tequila in the MTV reality show A Shot at Love 2 with Tila Tequila.  The controversial Bachelor-style reality dating show pits 15 straight guys with 15 sexy lesbians for a shot at Tila's love while they live inside her house.

Mrs. LloydMooresLegs took a summer course at UWGB while an MU undergrad.  Does that count?

By the way, she passed the course and I then deemed her eligible to be with me again.  However, I banished her for the remainder of the summer so that she could think about how she could be a better future Mrs. LloydMooresLegs.  When she returned to Marquette for the Fall semester, she had to spend some time on the bench, but, ultimately, she made it back to the team.  It worked out.  At least for me.

At the time, nobody thought that Madison had one.
