Did anyone else think it was odd how Wade looked like he was consulting notes when answering the post-game questions from the media? It seemed like after every other word he would look down at a sheet of paper. Was he just looking at stats and feeding the media fodder at the same time? If so, great multi-tasking skills.
Coming into the 2nd half he only had 4 points... The Celtics v Heat all-star game was sorely disappointing!
Since the 95-96 Bulls didn't lose their 4th game until February 4th, can we officially cancel any and all hype regarding this Heat team?
Like I said at the time of "The Decision": you can't have three studs surrounded by total crap and expect to win.
And I am being generous in calling Bosh a stud. How was he considered a top tier free agent?
Maybe wade needs to start looking at how the "experiment" is working. That team is not getting it done, and what idiot would have LeBron James at PG. Two perimeter players and a PF who does not play good D is going to get eaten alive in that league. Wade was 2 for 12 yesterday and did not look inspired. The ball in LeBron's hands being the distributor is a bad, bad, bad idea!
My guess is that before mid-season Riley will be coming down from his high perch to coach the team, while Spoelstra is banned to the development league.
My guess is they win two rings in the next three years.
It's weird rooting against wade, but I'm starting to love it.
I got yelled at on the street for being a Heat fan as I was wearing my Wade jersey sweatshirt. I've had it for 4 years!
I cheer for Wade to drop 40 every night in a loss. I never want to see LBJ win a title.

This Heat team will be fantastic in another 2 years, when they can add exempted players. I don't know why so many people are picking them to win it this year, too many holes. The team is built for the future when they can add pieces to the puzzle under the CBA.
Now, what's interesting, of course, is the potential lockout for next season which could blow up the CBA entirely (I'm going to wager it does and we do have a lockout).

He just looked like someone that wanted to be anywhere else at that moment. And I can't blame him after the way he shot the ball.
Anybody happen to see Lebron brick the wide open three off the side of the backboard? Clutch.

Only way that's happening is if next year isn't lost to a lock out.
Pretty much sums up the Heat so far:

Bosh has looked horrible. They need him to kill the glass and pound inside but most of the time he likes to have Wade/LBJ drive and kick him the ball for a 12' jumper. He's soft. 6'11" and he only averages 6 boards a game?!? Did anyone see Rondo drive left down the lane and dunk in his face without him even contesting the shot? That about sums it up for me...
They may still win it this year, but they certainly have weaknesses.
I agree that Bosh is overhyped. They may have been just as good if not better signing Brendan Haywood, Raymond Felton, and Kyle Korver with the money they spent on Bosh. That gives them a defensive center to go with Haslem, a PG, and a second shooter to come in off the bench with Mike Miller. Wade/James can han dle the scoring. No need for Bosh.
If the Heat make the Finals, and mostl likely play LA, look for Gasol to get MVP because of the matchups. Kobe will be worried about defense and Gasol will have a career series.
What is really ridiculous is that Wade took less money than both Bosh and James over the entire legth of the contracts, so Bosh will always be making more than Wade.
head will be rolling in Miami.
No ring for you! Miami Heat!

He's looking at the stat sheet

Jason Whitlock nails it here. Bosh is too soft and Riley should look to trade him. And this was written before the last two games.
