Lunardi's first bracket is out. He has MU as an 11 seed and the Big East getting 8 teams in.

I project us better than that.
The only thing I like about the early bracketology, he means it's college basketball season!! ;D ;D ;D

And about time for it to begin.
We're In!!!
From his PC to God's Ear!
While it's too early, I'm very happy to see a trend in all of these early brackets, and that's Marquette as a NCAA Tournament team. I've seen us as high as five, as low as 11, but the constant is that everyone expects us to be there. After years of low expectations, pundits are finally on board that this team is probably going to find a way to win ten games and earn a spot in the Big Dance. Despite losing three key senior starters, and not really having any recognizable names (at least nationally) ready to replace them, we are still getting respect. I attribute that to a couple years of good recruiting and an up-and-coming coach that is earning respect around the country. Good work, Buzz. Can't wait to see what you do with these guys.
If Marquette would be in the Denver regional, I would be the happiest man alive. I have been an MU fan since my sister went there from 2000-2005, and obviously they never come out this far west.
I don't currently have tickets, but if they were close to getting in that regional I would find some.
Man, that would be awesome!

They've been in the LA regional the past 2 years. I hears that's on the left coast.
I'd rather CA than the Mountain West area of the country. At least then it's a worthwhile vacation.

While true, we here in the Mountain West don't really consider California "our part of the country." California is a 20ish hour drive from us, which is more than driving from Denver to Milwaukee.
And a vacation to Denver in March would be great! A lot of times there's some great spring snow that you could ski on. Our downtown area is BEAUTIFUL when it's snowy, and 16th street is a great destination.
I attended MU NCAA events in San Diego and Irvine in past years. I hope they get back out here soon. They were a blast.
