Very in-depth preview courtesy of USA Today...not sure if this was posted yet.

Quote"Junior college transfer Jae Crowder has taken Lazar Hayward's old No. 24 jersey, and may wind up taking his spot in the starting lineup as well."

Really? 24? They were doing alright til then. That's a pretty silly error.

For a national publication, not really a dire error. Crowder was supposed to take 24 until the university remembered that George Thompson's number was retired. Crowder then elected to go with Hayward's vacant #32. So he took Hayward's old jersey, he tried to take #24, pretty understandable for a publication that doesn't focus on Marquette.

I actually thought this was one of the better previews I've seen. The players it lists as impact pieces actually are expected to have a major impact. They don't project Blue as an instant starter, which is refreshing, and they know who Jae Crowder is, which most publications don't. All in all, a pretty decent look at Marquette for the non-Marquette die-hards.

Agreed on the quality Brew, but while the error is not dire, it's amateurish. Iy takes two clicks to double check that neither Crowder nor Zar wore 24 (at least last year).

I remember when Zar made the 24 to 32 switch, still a silly error I agree.
