can you go through the UWM ticket office and bypass the ticketmaster charges? The tix only 12 bucks but they add another 8 in charges.

I would think the only other way is to go to the UWM ticket office or the US Cell Box office. Ticketmaster fee's are a joke!

I was able to get my 2 tix yesterday from the ticket office at the Klotsche Center. Saved about $10 in Ticketmaster fees.

This topic should be pinned.  There are a lot of tickets left and it is basically a home game for us.  I thought the MU fan base would have sold the game out by now!......just got 3 pretty nice seats.  Thanks for the heads up mupanther!

Am I alone in that I'd rather watch the game on TV at a bar than sit in the US Cellular Arena?  I mean, DePaul games are bad enough at the Allstate.

I still miss (but completely understand why we don't) the one game a year that used to played at the MECCA. It's also the our old home and so much history to it. It's also not a bad hoops arena like the Rosemont.

As I'm in the Bradley Center 19 times a year for MU games and 13 to 15 times a year for Panther games. I really like that the Cell has much better leg room and you are close to the action. Plus, the tap beer taste better at the Cell than the BC.

I think UWM released more tickets to the pubic on Monday. That is why there are more tickets now on ticketmaster.
Plus, UWM still hasn't had there home opener yet untill this Saturday night. The word should get out more in the coming week.

The lengths UWM will go to sell tickets, sad.

I was talking about the game to an MU student last night. He said he wasn't going because he didn't think student season ticket holders should have to pay extra for this game. Can't say I agree with that...it may be closer to Marquette, but it's still a road game, and it's not like getting a ticket is expensive.

But regardless...a UWM student asked "You guys have to pay for tickets to that game? They're handing them out at UWM for free!" Are they really giving tickets away for free to students? Are they that desperate to fill the Cell for this, or just that fearful that Marquette will take it over?

Slap that student across the face.  Waaaah, it's not fair I have to pay $12 to go see MU play.  Waaahh, can you believe MU student season tickets are almost a $100.  Waaah, the free shuttles don't run often enough.

That Marquette student you talk to is a baby! It's a true road game for MU.

UWM students for every home game is free.

It's kind of abysmal timing.  To be fair, in years past this game was not on this weekend.  I hope we can take of business without all 18,000 MU faithful showing up -- sometimes family comes first, yo!  Cheer it up for me double!
