Glad to see a Marquette related story on Deadspin that doesn't have to do with a bad joke rap group.

RIP Luke

F'ing Phenomenal. That's one of the most bad ass stories I've ever heard. RIP, Luke.

I like how the one ref comes in to split up Luke and Dawkins, but once they drop into boxing stances he can't get out of the way fast enough.  :D

I personally like the announcer yelling "We got a good one" and the players backing away as it shapes up like a hockey fight.  Different era for sure.

What people don't know is that Lucas was on campus after being drafted when they wouldn't pay what he was worth.  He told them he was going back to school and stayed in the vic McCormick suite.  I was on the sixth floor at the time with MU Obama, Ulice Payne.

that video is incredibly badass. it fulfills all the criteria for completely getting behind a guy in a fight:
1. He didn't start it
2. He wasn't being a dbag
3. He is standing up for one of his guys
4. The other fighter took a cheap shot

There was never an agreed bet Sir.  Like your mentor Tan Tommy you have selective memory syndrome.  Perhaps like Luke you should return to campus for a refresher course or two.  I hear the theoloy department has changed since your major.

Your on Chicos

If Stanford wins I will write a fan letter to Tan Tommy Crean Puff and apologize for calling him the William Munny of the college game.  If ND wins you buy and drink a green beer.

LC escapes on a technically because "your on" doesn't mean the same thing as "you're on".

Chico's, your(sic) foiled again!

I guess when you said "your on Chicos" you weren't agreeing to the bet?  You were saying something else?  It's funny that you attack me and others for having no scruples when you were just caught with your dick in your hand.

You lost...no...you got DESTROYED....I'd like to see you pay up.  Copy of letter, stamped, etc.  Let's see it.

I thought it was great how seamlessly the announcer went from basketball game, to heavyweight championship fight mode.  He didn't skip a beat, and you didn't even notice that you were suddenly watching a HBO fight!
