Top 10 Big East Players...
That's great. He definitely deserves the recognition.
Whenever Jimmy would get the ball last year, I'd hear this little voice in the back of my head saying "he's too short, he's too small to do it again," yet he always came through with big buckets in the paint. I'm not sure how he did it, but I loved it. I'm looking forward to more of the same this year.
I still don't see how Austin Freeman is preseason POY.
(not saying that an MU player should be, I just feel like there's a few players better than him)
I think it will either be Kemba Walker or Corey Fisher.

Freeman played very well at the end of the year. He also battled that stomach illness so his good play was magnified.
I think Freeman is definitly a more dangerous player than Fisher. I think he gets a little too much hype. Him and Jones for WVU. Jones has a good body and can rebound but hes really been getting hyped up this year to take huge steps, before playing at all.
Kevin Jones is good, really good. I thought he was WVU second best player last year, better than the overrated Devin Ebanks.
Jones is my pick to win Big East POY.

Agreed. Jones is big, really efficient, a good rebounder, and will be the primary option at WVU.

Sorry to nitpick, but did he battle a stomach illness? I thought he was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic?

You are correct. I knew stomach didn't sound right. I think he was sluggish in a couple February games and they thought it was a stomach bug or flu but then they got it right with the Diabetes. Good catch.
I'd also agree with the other two guys on Kevin Jones. Huggy did well with this kind of player in Maxiell and Hicks and Jones, I think, is even better because he can scare you offensively with his jumper.
Anybody who doesn't think the Big East is down this year, we are debating who is a better player of the year by arguing for Kevin Jones to win over Austin Freeman.....bahahaha
They list Jimmy at 6' 7". He's taller than that. Maybe it's just how long he is, but I've stood next to him and he seemed taller than the listed height.

Maybe you're just shorter than you seem?

I remember Homer last year insisting he was 6'7-3/4". Apparently Homer measured his height in an interview, though I'm not sure if that was with or without shoes. But either way, 6'8" is probably a more accurate assessment.
