What a disappointment.  I thought this was going to be about Vietnamese food!

We need to start a 2010 Wes Mathews/Portland thread so instead of 100+ threads on Wes, we can just keep it to one.

Matthews just had a nice dunk + announcer Marquette mention lol.  They've been talking about him for the past few minutes now.  Looking good so far in his first game with Portland.

That's Pho King funny!  We just have a lot of the usual #s.  Though I guess Pho Yo and Pho 4 Mua are kinda creative.

From Bill Simmons' twitter:
The RC Soccer Moms were right on him. Looked great. RT @rasavelia: Wes Matthews! +22 tonight! The highest for any game! Soccer Moms r proud!

Good to see some props from Simmons for Matthews after saying Wes would only get 10 min per game in his column.

Trailblazers were retweeting comments from fans, one that mentioned: "Wes Matthews NOT looking overpaid."

Here were some others:

"Portland was +22 during Wesley Matthews' 30 minutes of action."

I could tell that Wesley Matthews was going to be good because of how he played in the Milwaukee Pro-Am this summer. ;p

You jest, but the NBA and the MKE Pro-Am have one big thing in common.... no defense.

If you watched Boston/Miami, then you would not have said that.   Boston came out playing great defense with superb help and rotations.   Not all teams play d like that and some nights it looks like no d is played because the players are so skilled offensively.

I know, I wasn't talking in absolutes.  Just more in general.
