Thanks for the youtube link this time! :)
I don't know which I like better. Buzz's yelling, or Junior's quiet confidence.
THAT
WAS
AWESOME.

I dig Buzz's Umbros.
I've never seen a real Marquette practice before.
That was intense. Buzz is really getting after the guys, especially Vander, which is good for him and by extension good for all of us
Wow... These episodes are worth 1000 times their cost to produce.
Favorite part = last scene of the video.
Simple drill executed properly and the guys react like they just hit a game winning three point. Enthusiam for doing the routine things the right way. Simply great.
Broner.
These episodes get better and better. I think that they could potentially be a very useful recruiting tool. Buzz says that he will work kids hard and these videos will show recruits the hard work they will endure and how different players on the team responded to Buzz's style of coaching.

Great first post, man. I can tell we're going to be best friends :P
I'm just wondering why Buzz is wearing baggy underwear to coach practice?

Yeah, according to muscoop I have been logged in a total of 3 days, 23 hours and 2 minutes. I figured it was time to say something and broner was the first and most substantial thing that came to mind.

Well, more substantive than most of the posters... including myself :)

At least there wasn't a manager in the background ready to provide a towel if necessary.
When Buzz referenced the shortcomings from last year, I heard the silent implication that this group is going to be playing a lot more aggressively on defense because he has options.
Dumb question here, but how much does Frozena take part in the practices? In the Boot Camp video, I thought I saw him standing on the sideline when everyone else was running. Then, in this one, Buzz says, "Rob, get me a whiteboard" and Rob is right there handing it to him. Isn't that a manager's job?

Maybe he's injured? Wouldn't that be a nice thing...if the walk-on who never plays is our only injury at this point. Although he was there with that whiteboard pretty quick. :D
Hard work in October = victories in March.
That was awesome. Best episode yet by a mile. Buzz goes so hard at everything he does.
I really like how Vander seems to be taking to Buzz's coaching. He is being humbled and pushed, and he seems to feed off it. Any character concerns some people might have accused him of having seem totally nonexistent.
Who would have thought 2 years ago that Jimmy Butler would have this much confidence and be such a leader.
Recruiting is the only thing to think about during the summer and early fall, but this video just reminded me how much more important coaching the players you have is. Take care of that and recruiting will follow. I love Buzz.
These videos are getting better every week. The first couple may have not given us diehards much we didn't know, but all of them are well done. Buzz and the program are coming across very well to casual fans and recruits, I imagine.
I noticed something looking through the episodes. The original story about the series said that a company called Authentic Films was going to do them, but starting with the Boot Camp episode, at the end it has said 3 Penny Films.
Only reason I bring it up is that the last three have been far less "infomercial" and more real. Especially the Boot Camp and Practice episodes, which were excellent.
This is going to be a special team. These videos drive me nuts for the start of the season.

Can't speak to the boot camp video, but as far as this one goes, they were running 5 on 5 drills and there's currently 15 guys on the roster. First three out on a drill like that are probably going to be Frozena, Singleton, and Wilson.
It's great to see Buzz striving for perfection on defense. It looks like there are many bad habits for the younger guys to break, but it does not look like Buzz will let them get away with anything.

Buzz has talked about this before. It's about who can string together the highest number of perfect possessions.
