Rodney Hood this weekend and D'Angelo Harrison the weekend of October 15. Says Harrison is a dangerous scorer and 1 of the best shooters in the nation and that Hood can move from the wing to the forward and even play some point forward. Says Buzz likes these kinds of players and calls them switchables. Also mentions we're in on Faust who's leaning towards signing with Maryland and Shaw.
Update: Jeff Dooley wrote earlier this week that under Buzz Williams, the Golden Eagles are mining the 2011 class for shooting guards. However, the two players mentioned (Rodney Hood and D'Angelo Harrison) are also players who can play multiple positions. Harrison is a dangerous scorer and one of the best long-range shooters in the class (another plus for Williams) but he can also switch and plan point while Hood -- at 6-foot-7 -- can move from the wing to the forward spot and may even play some guard (in the point forward role). Williams calls this type of players 'switchables' and since he has arrived at Marquette, employing players who can move into different positions on the court has been a priority for the Marquette coaching staff.
On this season's squad, Jimmy Butler and Joe Fulce are two types of those players but look for Jae Crowder will be the latest 'switchable' to emerge.

Marquette has a couple of the country's top unsigned shooting guards coming to campus in October, with Rodney Hood visiting the weekend of Oct. 1 and D'Angelo Harrison making the trip the weekend of Oct. 15.
The Golden Eagles have gotten off to a slow start in recruiting their 2011 class, with no commits to this point, but landing either Hood or Harrison would be a big boost for coach Buzz Williams as he tries to keep pace with the Big East's elite.
Marquette is recruiting another top shooting guard, Nick Faust, who, as we wrote Tuesday, could be leaning toward signing with Maryland. The Eagles also remain in the mix for ESPNU PF Mike Shaw.
Does it say when they are supposed to come visit?
