Just surprised that summer is over and when I see that countdown around the 20 day mark I start listening to "Where the Streets Have No Name" to get ready for the impending season.
surprised? are you crazy man?
Has there been anything official put out for Madness yet?

Seriously?

Yes. Considering we usually get the event activites announced by now. Not too mention the banner still has the Madness date and time as question marks.
Feel free to share anything I missed.

Yes, surprised. No, not crazy (Ok, maybe a little). Just feels like summer started not too long ago and we're getting ready for MU bball already.

my take would be slightly different , as in, God, when will MU BB ever get here? Feels like forever! Wait a minute...do I need to get a life???

Yes.
This year there shouldn't be any volleyball before the game.
I will be out of town during the event. Will there be a way to watch Madness online? Not necessarily live streaming, but a video recap of the event on gomarquette. I'd love to see the dunk contest this year with Fulce, Smith, Jones etc..

Did it affect logistics of the event getting underway last year? I wasn't there. Seems like a nice way to tie in a team that doesn't really get a lot of love from the campus community, give those student-athletes a chance to play in front of a big, partisan crowd.

It was a slight delay, but not a huge problem. I actually really liked having the V-Ball game before. It was pretty crowded, and you could tell it was fun for them to play in front of 4,000 fans.

isn't v-ball a club sport?

Ooops, yeah. It was released with the schedule, we updated the banner then, but neglected to remove the question mark. I'll fix that...
No volleyball game beforehand, they play two away games that weekend. And ATWizJR, men's volleyball is a club sport, but we are talking about DI women's volleyball.

The volleyball went too long and MU won 3-0. Just think if the game went 5 sets.

Madness for the players starts in a week. They call it bootcamp!
Currently, is Anderson the only scheduled visit that night?

I'm hoping they do an episode in the MU Basketball Revealed of "bootcamp"!! Looks like this weeks focus is individual workouts...per muathletics twitter

I don't think Anderson is visiting for Madness. I can't imagine he'd make 2 cross-country trips in a matter of weeks.
Jarion Henry is going to be there, and IWB says DeAngelo Harrison will as well.
it was streamed online last year.
I would imagine it will be again, gomarquette.com
