This is kind of stupid.
1st) Get the damm schedule out so we know what the dates and times are.
2nd) TV and radio still works the best, to get the paying customers at the game.

"Special iSpot software will link the digital billboard to a MU Athletics twitter account so tweets can be displayed in real time."
I hope they have great filters.
I'd hate to see any pro-Badger stuff on the billboards.
They have it filtered through a dedicated twitter feed. So they'll show up when the MU staff puts them on that feed.

Blame Lebron/ESPN for the lack of a schedule.

I was half expecting the schedule to come out yesterday. The Yahoo Sports CBB blog is doing a list of the 15 must see BEast games this season, and you'd think that the timing of said games would be important.

I agree that having the schedule out would make a big difference but this form of advertising is hardly stupid. It's newer, more effective and more efficient and now that smart phones are in nearly everyone's hands it is going to continue to grow at a huge rate.
Not just that, but the real time billboards is a nice blend of traditional and non-traditional media...and is actually pretty cheap. TV and radio are much more expensive, but I am sure that MU will use those as well.
