Saw this today on Yahoo. I feel like there were a lot of dunks that should have been included in this and were not, especially since there weren't any where the dunker was a Warrior/ Golden Eagle. We do have a couple where MU guys get dunked on unfortunately. Anyway, it's relatively entertaining.

Enjoy!
I was hoping for DJO followed by Buzz' dance.
Nice list, but it should have included this Wade dunk.

I agree completely. I was waiting to see that one on there. I was sitting in the student section behind the basket of the Metrodome at floor level when he threw that one down. One of my favorite memories of that season. The place, which was an overhwlemingly pro-Marquette crowd, or maybe that's how I felt, went nuts. Amazing!

A cool thing about that play is he started off on the floor fighting for a rebound and blazes downcourt.

Send it in medium-sized fella!
Still one of my favorite game-related quotes of all time. Joe Chapman's reaction shot is priceless too.
Anybody have his baseline dunk vs ECU I think in video?

No, it was overwhelmingly pro-Marquette. Hell, even the Badgers were behind us. I remember talking to a lot of Badger fans that day that had picked up Marquette shirts so they could cheer for UW against Kentucky and MU against Pitt. When UW lost, they all stuck around to cheer for Marquette against Kentucky. I would guess that 70-80% of the crowd was pulling for Marquette that day, despite the relatively short drive, not a lot of UK fans made the trip up.

The crowd probably had turned MU's way, because they were blowing out the #1 overall seed.
6 minutes in, its worth the wait....

That list is weak. How could Clyde the Glyde not be #1? Number 11? Seriously?
He could have sat on top of the guys head he was so high.
I don't care what anybody says. Artie Grenn was the most electrifying player to dunk a ball. As a sheltered kid going to Marquette games, I didn't know what to expect, but his jumping ability didn't seem human. There have been several since him, but I had never seen anything like him before (my apologies to Dr. J). He was so athletically gifted, I think he was even drafted to play defensive back in the NFL

the best part of the game is when diener feeds novak for a three and starts running back down the court with his arms up cause he knows he's gonna drain it
Who is that dunking over DJames at 0:45?
Jimmy Mac decided to hold his position rather than go for the block against Grant Hill at 3:30, to no avail.
Luckily no dunks against MU in the top 50.
I also think that DJO's follow-up dunk against Louisville was as good or better than some of those that made the top 50.
How about the dunk that Dom James had over tennessee a few years back - anyone have that one?
I thought Shaq's dunk at #22 should have been closer to if not in the top ten.
#2, the dude just got up...he was just waiting to come down. Disgustingly high.
Definitely not a top 50 NCAAs, but top 100 MU dunks:

I don't think that was the case. Just walking around at halftime, it virtually looked like a home game. I would say that 50-60% had Marquette shirts on, and even more were cheering for MU. Everything we did that day would have drawn the support of the crowd, but it was there from the opening tip.
My favorite Wade dunk is still the reverse alley-oop Cordell Henry threw from half-court at DePaul.

You're not kidding. He looks like he begins to rise again when he gets his hand on the ball. Loved that one.
