Title: OT: Not a good start for Big East football
Post by: MarquetteDano on September 05, 2010, 09:51:19 AM
Some may not care about football but a poor Big East football conference could doom our chances to stay in the Big East.  Not a good start to the sesason...

Cincy loses to Fresno State
# 15 Pitt loses to #24 Utah
UConn loses by 20 at Michigan
Looeyville loses to hated rival Kentucky

Not good at all.

Let's just hope that Big East football becomes a lower priority and for the Big 12 to finally blow up and add Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri and either Memphis or Iowa State..

That would make us around equal to ACC football but superior to them in basketball

You are assuming that if the B12 blows up, that MU would still be in a BCS conference of some sort.

That isn't a good assumption for you to make IMO.
