Title: Scrimmages during the summer of 2011
Post by: tower912 on September 01, 2010, 03:03:56 PM
Regardless of who we recruit, assuming no transfers/injuries/early departures for the NBA, the scrimmages during the summer of 11 should be ridiculous.     Assuming that Smith/Cadougan are on opposite teams, Blue/DJO are on opposite teams, Otule/Gardner are on opposite teams, with any combination of Crowder/Williams/Wilson/Jones, is there any combination that has a clear advantage?    For example, would Cadougan/DJO/Wilson/Crowder/Otule  be markedly better than Smith/Blue/Wilson/Jones/Gardner?  Assuming health and normal development,  I see every combination as being an evenly matched war.

And that is why recruiting this year will be challenging!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't MU able to take it's summer trip and play as a team (also practice)?

The last trip I remember MU taking was when they went to Canada (Vancover I think) for a tournement.

With the Pro-Am and a possible MU team trip, next years team will be more than ready for the season to begin.
