Title: Jae Crowder
Post by: ATWizJr on August 24, 2010, 09:17:37 AM
Maybe I'be missed it, but, there doesn't seem to be much "buzz" about Crowder.  Is he on campus?  Is he working out? Open gym?  How does he look?

Thanks.

I can't wait to hear how he is fitting in. We need this kid to contribute if we are to be competitive this year.

He'll be here sometime this week with the others as there has been a short break following the second summer session..  He had to finish up at his Juco to get his degree or sufficient credits to enroll at MU as a junior.  Was here fo a short visit a couple weeks ago.  As such, nothing to report and no resultant "buzz".

Did other two-year JC transfers, like Buycks, go through the same summer school issues that prevented them from getting here until the fall?  Is that fairly common?

I guess for now he is the great unknown.  Can't wait to hear people's impressions of him once he gets here and gets going.

thanks.

Not to this extent.  But none of the other JUCO transfers spent their freshman year at a school that had its accreditation revoked like Jae did.

Thanks bma.  Can you give a starving fan base anything additional about Jae, how he is expected to fit in and recruiting efforts in general?

Would've lived to have seen video clips of him during the pro-am.

But I expect he will be hitting the court immediately off the plane and ballin with his teammates.

Hope it helps him and us "fly under the radar".
