www.MilwaukeeProAm.com
IWB, what time does this start, and are there any other dates known yet? Definitely thinking of swinging up to Homestead on Saturday.
And those rosters look great :)
Schedule will be posted tonight, in the mean time, all of the dates are on the registration page.
Saturday the games are at 10:15, 10:30, 11:30 & 11:45.
Thanks!
Nice teams. Team #4 with Reggie Smith playing with Matthews, what a treat for the young guy. Be interesting to see how he plays.
I am so jealous of those of you in Milwaukee.

as one of many MU fans that no longer live in the area I hope for many reports on how the guys on next year's roster are playing.

Agreed, If there was any way to get some clips of some of the new guys that would be awesome!
Do you guys know if this is free to attend?

Yes, it is. The NCAA does not allow for admission to be charged.
IWB- Will you know the times for the other dates down the road?
What criteria was used in creating the rosters? It'd be interesting to know (at least to me).

It was mentioned in another thread that there couldn't be more than two scholarship players on a team.
That must explain why
Team 5 has
Johnson-Odom, Darius G Marquette
Singleton, Dave G Marquette <--------- Walk-on
Williams, Erik F Marquette
and Team 8 has
Jones, Jamail SF Marquette
Wilson, Jamil SF Marquette <------Schollie player but will probably sit out 10/11
Team 1 looks dominant. I'll see what I can do on the video front.

So these are going to be on different courts... or are the games like 10 min long?
Edit: Found my own answer... two different courts.
Team 1 looks very solid, id pick them to be my favorite
The last two days on the schedule, which is correct, the day or the date? Friday would be August 6th but the schedule says 8th(Sunday) and Sunday would be August 8th, but the schedule says 10th(Tuesday). I have to believe the days are correct and the dates are wrong.
I'll hang up and wait for your response.
Last two dates have been corrected - Friday August 6th & Sunday August 8th.
Hello Team 1!
Is Steven Gruber, "One Call that's All" David Gruber's kid?
Think I'm most interested in seeing team 4 and 6 with Cadougan, Reggie Smith, Otule, Gardner on those teams.
Yes, that is David Gruber's kid. Steven just finished his career at Brown.
Nobody better get hurt then IWB......
Bets on Team 1 to take this.
Team one if Jerel is there.
Man, I wish DJ was playing

Gruber is also Pearl's attorney and had a hand in hooking him up to Brown and overseas.
Wonder if Gruber was the one who tipped Crean off on the Israeli Assassin, Niv Berkowitz.
Anyone that's going should really give Chris Grimm a big thank you for planting the seed that put this all together. It'll be nice to see some of the MU players from the past and future playing together! It should be a great time!
Yes, the seed that is growing into this beautiful plant that he can (moving) pick when it has bloomed.
He's made a nice career for himself in Europe...Glad to see another former player find success doing what they love.

You'll also notice on the video that Dan Fitzgerald is in some of these highlights. Chris #15, Dan #5.
How dare you include "Grimm", "Fitzgerald" and "Highlight" all in the same sentence and not have it be teal.
This might sound like a stupid question but are all of the posted times AM?

I'm going to guess those highlights include a lot of moving screens and fouling a player on a fast break that subsequently scores the basket and makes the free throw.
Did Blackledge legally change his first name to Trend? I thought that was just a nickname...
What's the going rate on sponsoring a team?
Good job Bart in organizing this league. The talent level seems to be pretty good. We will see on Saturday. It seems to be a first for Milwaukee.
Time change for this Saturday's game. It now starts at 9:15 AM.
