Yes, it's that time of the year!
Starting tomorrow, Jerel will be playing for the Charlotte Bobcats Summer League team.
Starting this Friday, the Vegas League begins.
But Lazar and Minnesota don't start until Monday, 12th.
Jerel and Chicago start Tuesday, 13th.
EDIT: Dominic James was a late add to the Bucks roster! First game is on Monday, 12th.
Watch them play here (for 14.95!!!): http://www.nba.com/summerleaguebroadband/?cid=768
Or NBA TV
Or go the http://atdhe.net/ or http://channelsurfing.net/ route... if they're being streamed.

Orlando Summer League

Yep! I'm actually excited to see. I have a few days to watch this week, and they have the games you can replay on broadband. Kind of sucks you have to pay, but I paid already because I have 4 teams to watch because of MU players and my 2 fav NBA teams.
Looking forward to watching Lazar especially.

Good and bad news for Jerel.
Good: played 20 min vs. Celtics
Bad: 1-6 FG, 1-5 3PT; Charlotte loses
Darn. Was he running the point and did you get to see any of it to see if he was running things ok and or on-ball defense?

Sorry. Missed it.
Next game, Philly tomorrow. Last summer league game of the day. 6 pm CST.
8 minutes left in the 3rd vs. Philly.
ZERO minutes for Jerel.
Looks like he's going to have to impress a Chicago staff.
Best chance? NBADL and landing a spot on the Golden State Warriors - the "Official" NBADL call-up team.
Any chance his playing time is out because he goes to bulls team next? Hey, miami could need a lot of minimum salary players soon. I'm not near a tv to watch lebron
Jerel will be a D-League lifer...thats what he is likely faced with unless he changes his game.
Jerel barely got a chance. I don't even know if he got in the game today. Can't wait to see ZAr play.

Boylan's comments are not very encouraging long-term.....
I know but with a potential lockout, minimum contracts may be valuable.
i was discussing this earlier with a friend, but does anyone know of the financial differences between a NBADL contract (if you arent signed with a team then sent there) as opposed to playing in europe? for a guy like DJ with financial obligations, is it more fiscally valuable to play another full season in europe as opposed to signing NBADL contracts in hopes of catching on with a 10-day contract, etc with a big club?
Unless you're signed with a legit Euro team, you can easily fall prey to non-payments, delayed payments, getting cut from teams, etc.
You may not realize bigger contracts in the NBADL but there's a little more security, you're stateside, and you can be called up any time (twice by the same team = season contract, I believe). Heck the Warriors added at least 5 Nbadlers this past season.

I didn't know Marquette was in the NBADL!
