with you, I can never tell if you are being sarcastic.
basically, you pick 3 (top is your first choice) and enter them in the little boxes.
If one is already being used, they move on to your next choice.
my choices were:
WE ARE
WEREMU
MUZOOM (my car is a mazda)

Just bust'n balls
You folks obviously need some population growth so you can get to 7 1/2 characters like we have here in the People's Republican of California. So much more flexibility with the added character plus the half space to split words into two.

yeah I know, but you know how message boards are. :-P
Normally, WI has 7, but the MU plate only allows 6 which totally crushed my dream. :(
Whole lotta shakin' goin' on right here in WI.

Got mine on thurs. was disappointed. didn't get my first 3 choices, so they gave me a 5 digit number, with a small vertical "MU" and the right side of the plates. looks like a campus plate.
I'd post a picture of my plates, but I don't really feel like making an account on a picture sharing website just to do it :-/
WTF I still haven't gotten mine yet.
You'd think this is a government operation or something.
The wifey and I got ours yesterday and put them on the vehicles. Non-personalized for us. They see me rollin'/they hatin'...

$8 of clear sticker paper, a laser printer, and presto .. a proper MU license plate. 8-)

I waited this long to do it because when I hatched the idea, my wife said she'd refuse to drive in the car with this plate. I'm hoping she forgot that conversation.

now THAT plate I'd get. how durable do you think it will be?
The sticker seems to be affixed pretty well .. I suppose I didn't test it with a rain / snowstorm. Maybe a dot of glue would be smart.

Why not throw a sheet of laminate over that side of the plate? That'll keep it on and protected from the elements.
Well .. I suppose I could throw more of the clear sticker paper on top. Other than expand the sticker area, not sure if that would help.
It's easy to print a new sticker .. I'll just do that if this one ever fails.

Well done. Is there some law or something that might get you pulled over? In California it wouldn't fly, it would be considered manipulation of state property, or so I was told by a colleague. He claims the plates are actually owned by the state, and he may be right. Just curious how Wisconsin is. I like the artwork, well done.
My plan is to find a judge who went to MU prior to 1994.

Good strategy. Maybe a few MU law grads can do some pro bono work for you in the defense.

Might have to wait for the new coach to be announced
Funny this thread pops up again since I was just looking at MU plates yesterday.
I want to switch mine up...
I assume they'll let you do that if you just resubmit the form and the $90.

You do need to cut a 2nd piece to lay on top of the sticker to protect the ink from chipping off. Learned that the hard way.
Thinking of a new plate .. maybe BAZZ W or DONEDEAL...
Maybe DSTONE, hey?

So you missed the eight years he served as governor of California?
EIGHT YEARS?! I'm still beside myself that he served for that long...
My wife vetoed any "personalized" plates so I wanted these:

It's been quite some time, there was one pretending to be one in Arnold, but that may have been the funniest RINO siting in history.

Apologies for the necro, but how has your modded MU plate worked out so far, Topper? Any problems from the fuzz?
