Somehow TC has managed to not insert himself into the Lazar story.
I applaud his restraint. I'm sure he has called / texted etc, which he should, but it's nice to see him not using Lazar's achievement to slap himself on the back.
Now if jack nuts like me could only stop posting TC related threads.
Could he say congrats lazar in a tweet, or would that be too much?
I wouldn't want him taking credit, but I'd be ok with a shout out.
I'm sure TC is very excited over Zar getting drafted, and he is very excited that he recruited Zar, and TC wil be very excited that he's going to MN to play under Jerry Sichting..who he is excited to report was a hire TC made while at MU. And not to mention he's also excited about everything else going at IU...including summer camp, his recent transfer, and the overall summer weather thus far in Bloomington.

Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly. Based on what I've seen and heard it's who he is. Maybe he'll change. Hope he does. But until or unless that happens I don't think it's unfair to predict that his future behavior will be in keeping with his past's.

Seriously, though, sounds like "It's Indiana, It's Indiana" doesn't have the cache with recruits it had with TC.
Wonder what he is talking about with waking up on third base and thinking you hit a home run? Maybe Calipari? Calipari did take the best recruit in the state of Indiana in that PG Teague. Took him right out of Indianapolis.
Crean isn't exactly at home plate either, when it comes to his metaphore. Top 10 all-time program with brand new facilities (he tweeted it is the best right around his bashing of other coaches) and a Final Four/D-Wade pedigree. Maybe he doesn't have what Calipari and Pitino have, but he certainly has a lot of advantages compared to other coaches. I am not sure what he is whining about. Seems pretty childish to put up something like that on Twitter though.
In a follow up post, Crean wrote, "In all honesty there are some Head coaches that would be the same way. The ones that wake up on 3rd base and think they hit a triple kill me."
Boy, am I glad he's gone. What a douche! With the Jamil Wilson news, for all we know he could be referring to Buzz. Who knows what may have happened there. What I do know is that those tweets could not be more weak. If you've got something to say, say it. Who are you talking about? The guy is a joke.

He may be talking about Painter who TC once noted to Bob Kravitz had a leg up on everyone b/c he was able to spend a year as a Assoc HC under Keady.
