Due to the anticipated inclement weather, tonight's Buzz's Bar-B-Q will be relocated from Central Mall to the Alumni Memorial Union, with dinner taking place in Monaghan Ballroom and Marquette Place. Great Bar-B-Q, children's games, words from Men's Head Basketball Coach Buzz Williams and Athletic Director Steve Cottingham, 25% off everything in the Spirit Shop, and lots of Marquette cheer.
Naturally, the radar says .. no rain.

similar to last year.
I can't help but wonder how much of the grassy area where the kids stuff would be going is a mushy mess after the last two nights worth of rain.
The hilarious part is that the tents have been set up since Monday. :D
EDIT: I guess the grass part doesn't matter. From Joe True on Twitter: http://twitpic.com/1zcpmc
It all went south. The tornado sirens were sounding in downtown Chicago.
As always, a nice event .. but .. my kids were (gasp) looking for the Golden Eagle to no avail. Never found him.
And surprisingly, we must have been in the wrong place .. but I didn't see a single current player. Saw a number of former players. Admittedly, we had to leave around 7, so perhaps the players came out then.
Topper, next time look in downtown Chicago. Your kids will find him there.

The team was on the 2nd floor until about 6:45 when they went upstairs for Buzz's speech.
And I didn't see the Eagle either.
