After months of threads/rumors, the NCAA charges are in--Its Big.
Uconn has 8 major violations charges, including hundreds of violative calls/texts to recruits ( like OU Kelvin Sampson), and the dreaded coach "failing to promote atmosphere of compliance " .
Among the allegations against UConn is that Archibald and Sellers provided false and misleading information to NCAA investigators. Sellers and Archibald, who served as director of basketball operations, have both resigned. Hathaway said Archibald left last week and Sellers quit on Sunday.
With the hearing on Oct 15, any NCAA ruling/sanctions on recruting will not kick in until 2011-12, (of course they could be barred from NCAAs in March 2011, and self imposed sntions could affect next season, too) but recruiting/ and no. of avail scholly's may be affected badly, for years (think Indiana).
Why did Calhoun re sign, except to set himself up for a nice buy out, when the hammer falls (guess I answered my own question-lol).

Indiana only lost one scholarship for one year. That is not a big deal, it was a joke.
Let the countdown begin to "It's UCONN, It's UCONN!"

Too bad his stock has fallen to penny ante status.
