for the double team on Harangody. How can we neither double the post nor guard the three point line?
Wasn't that the case with the GTown game? We didn't slouch to defend Hibbert or Green down low? We just prayed they would miss the 5 footer.
Didn't happen today. We need more bigs.
Who thought that the unathletic turd on wheels could actually make shots?!?! How many fallaway shots that that fugly guy make? My beef is with our shooting--AGAIN! Can't seem to knock down shots, or FTs--AGAIN!!!

Don't get me wrong, their inability to shoot will lead them to a one and done in the NCAAs. But if you're calling Harangody a fugly who shouldn't make shots, how'd we allow his to score a team-high 22 and 8-9 from the field with 12 rebounds (8 OFFENSIVE!!!)?
Let's face it: we get eaten up in the inside and Lott, Burke, and Kinsella suck cheese curds.

He's not a world beater, but this certainly can't be pinned on Kinsella. He played like a minute and a half in the game, for one thing. I thought he did pretty well in his time, personally, and I don't really understand why he doesn't play more in games where we keep getting beat up inside. Not too much, but certainly more than a minute and a half.

Well, I became a believer after about the 4th one.

You have got to be kidding me! While I don't necessarily condone 77's choice of language, Kinsella is seomewhat less than adequate. Did you see him reach in on the 6 foot guard driving the lane and get a foul when he had postion under the basket? Did you see him drop the entry pass right to him? Do you see how reluctant his teammates are to pass him the ball because of the almost certain dire consequences? What exactly did he do that was good? What did he do that wasn't terrible! He played a minute and a half or whatever because TC couldn't stand watching him and risked Barro getting his third foul just to get him off the floor!
Of course the loss is not on him, because of how little he plays. Barro picked up two dumb fouls (both good calls) early in the first half, and that cost us a lot.

I agree that he doesn't bring much to the floor, but he always brings size. We got manhandled down under the basket today, and I think that his defense is good enough to give him some minutes when that is happening. I don't remember the reach in foul, and I really don't think he had a bad game defensively. I agree that he brings nothing offensively, but which of our big players does? Burke was out there for a long time today without any offense. I still think that you can't pin this game on him in any way. He's certainly not great, but I think he could have helped us if he would have gotten some of the minutes that Burke was getting today.
I am, in no way pinning the loss, on these guys...BUT...what I do expect are two things: rebounds and defense. It appears we got SOME rebounds but the starting five got the most. And defense? Nowhere to be seen.
