From ESPN Insider:
QuoteWho's asking about Kyle Cain?
2:17PM ET
When Kyle Cain decided to attend URI last fall, the forward was considered a steal for the A-10 school. But now that Cain has asked has asked for his release from the Rams and is back on the recruiting trail, which schools are inquiring about the 6-foot-7 prep?
Jeff Goodman of FoxSports.net says there are a plethora of schools are interested in Cain; among the schools reportedly considering the forward are Kentucky, Illinois, Gonzaga, Alabama, West Virginia and others (and there are many others).
Sources tell us that Cain isn't too hot on Illinois, due to vast number of frontcourt players who will see ample playing time in 2011 (Mike Tisdale and Mike Davis are just the tip of the iceberg). Sources also tell us that Marquette has entered the Cain race and have called the forward, which would make sense; although the Eagles just signed Davante Gardner, they still are a smallish squad.
Since the announcement of his release was just announced, we will continue to keep you updated if a leader starts to emerge.]
Personally I don't know anything about this kid, but I find it interesting that we're apparently interested in ANOTHER 2010 recruit...figured you'd all be amused too!
Correct me if I'm wrong but the last day to sign a LOI is May 19. If so, this whole parade of 2010 recruits should be over in 8 days, one way or another.
This saga could go on for awhile. A recruit can still commit to a school after the 19th -- it's just that they won't have to sign a LOI.
I like the sounds of this kid ;)
In Cain's case, he signed an NLI this year already and was released.. therefore, no matter where he goes, I don't think he can sign another NLI... so the end of the regular signing period becomes irrelevant in his case...
He was hanging out with Weber today.. don't know how it went.

Sounds like it's ASU, WVU or UK.
