Kid is everywhere. Playing great defense on Billups/Anthony. Grabbing rebounds. Hitting outside shots. Sloan can't take him off the court.
It's incredible how integral he's become to their team.
Playing awesome!
5 fouls and carmello's shot is totally off.
He has played a good game, didn't shy away from attacking after some of his early shots didn't fall/got blocked inside. Would have loved to see that last 3 of his fall near the end of the 3rd quarter that place was ready to go nuts (more than it had been). But nice to see him get back on D for the steal.
Wesley keeps proving people wrong. He's playing great.. jerry must really trust him especially on D since he for the most part always guards the best player.
The announcers have been giving Pam and Wes Sn. Some major props.
Great to see him playing so well. The Jazz have a decent team and to be honest I think the Jazz have a chance to get to the Finals. The Lakers are obviously the favorites again, but there is no way anyone on LA can guard Deron Williams. Wes would actually have a big role to slow Kobe again. What a gauntlet, first Melo, then Kobe. A rookie would have to grow up fast. Of course, being up 2-1 does not win a series...
Just goes to show how much a CHIP on the shoulder can take you...
I'm becoming a Jazz fan...
It's a shame the Jazz are down 2 starters to injury. So cool to watch Wes succeed. I can't help but wonder what Jerel and Dom think of it all. I am sure they are happy for him, but there has to be somewhat of a feeling of "I thought that would be me" running through their heads.
To be honest, DJ and Jerel don't have the NBA body that Wes has. And, that's OK if your game is something special. That's not the case with either.
The real pity, however, is that Crean never did recognize or develop Wes's talent during the three years he was his coach.

We knew Wes had that body from day 1. This is just awesome...sure, it's not at the level of Wade in the Finals (but let's be honest, not much is), but this performance by him, playing big time minutes for a verrrryyy good basketball team, puts a smile on my face that I can't get rid of.
Health care reform will take that smile off your face, oops.
