7-foot-1 Moussa Gueye
http://midstatehoops.com/v5/?page_id=3569
7'1
275
he is pretty huge.
seeing that he's a JUCO makes me happy
That is a very big man.
Damn, sounds good, lets get him
I'm assuming he's a recruit for 2010-11? I like the idea of an accomplished JuCo 7'1", 275 lb center with three years of eligibility, but we still have no scholarships. Read another article online that said his coach may be looking to try to get a job out of it, and that Valpo may offer the coach an assistant role to secure Gueye.

Please! Please! Please!
This would be awesome!!!!!!

Everything I've read has him as 2011-2012. Needs 2 years at JUCO.
Apears to be clAss of 2011. Unless he has reclassified to 2010?

No. That one article states he has to up his grades by 2011.
He would be an ideal 2011 recruit who could come and and play inside right away. Him, a project big, and highly rated wing would give Buzz a squad that could do some damage.
Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Illinois, USC, Georgetown, Butler, Xavier, Marquette, Indiana, Colorado, Virginia Tech Missouri, USC, Illinois, and Indiana...and more to come according to the site.
I wouldn't get too exited over this big til we are even in his top 10, let alone top 3

If I remember correctly, the NCAA recently passed some new rules that would make this difficult if not impossible and would result in some severe penalties. I guess the finally got tired of the heat they were getting when things like this went down in the past.

Hell, with that list, I wonder if Maryland eastern Shore and Quinnipaic are also recruiting him. A seven footer sure is in demand.

Of course the list looks long when you list a bunch of schools twice.

What isn't Indiana 2 different schools??? Hence It's Indiana, It's Indiana.

Agreed.
The last guy was maligned for not landing an impact big. But he did get MU on the top lists (whether 3 or 5) of some good prospects so we've been down this road before and being listed amongst 15 other schools is nothing to get excited by.
It's true that being on a list with 15 other schools is no reason to get excited, but Buzz' track record with landing top flight JUCO players is.
Tell me more about this Gueye.
Buzz is pretty good with JUCOs so this may be good.
