I've got a feeling that this will be a great get for Buzz.

Agree....
I also agree.
I think he is Cubillan/Chapman at worst. And that is by no means a bad thing as I really appreciated those two player's defense, intensity, shooting, and leadership.
This is a great situation for Newbill. He comes in with no pressure to score or defend the best player. All he has to do is compete, knock down shots, and learn from Buycks and DJO.
So it's official, we are at the limit of our schollies. Someone has to go for Buzz to sign another (for next year).

I am not holding my breath. I am perfectly happy with the signings. One thing Buzz has shown is that having players who will buy in and play hard is more important that getting that big man. Size is not as big of an issue next season anyway. We will not longer be undersized in every position*
* if Otule can play
I count 7 players, signed or already on campus, 6'6 or taller. Assuming no more injuries to Otule, we have more than enough size. Coach 'em up, get them playing good defense, and turn them loose.

I agree wit where you are coming from hoops but not sure you can compare Cubi and Chapman. chapman was a freaking stud his last two years especially as a Senior. i loved Cubi but he really played by default
