I can't go because I'm stuck on the West Coast!  :(

i have no doubt they will end up on ebay within a few days after the game.

i also wouldn't be surprised if they started selling them in the bookstore like they do with the wade shirts they gave away last year.
Title: are they giving this shirt away at the Pitt game?

Not sure how they'll dish these out.  They've done it two ways:

1.  There's a shirt (single size .. L, maybe) on every seat in the BC.

2.  They've set up stations at the BC entrances and ask your size.  It's a huge frenzy.  It'd be relatively simple to go back in line and get another shirt.  (Unlike the bobblehead ticket-marking, although perhaps they'd add that to the t-shirt giveaway.)

It it is #2 please have the common courtesy to take one shirt and move on. These shirts are intended for those who actually attend the games. When the Wade shirts were being handed out I as amazed/appalled by the actions of more than a few people  - it was rediculous.  The result was people who actually attended the game came away with nothing or the were left with a selection of small, or...... ah small.

This is still easy to get around, especially for students, you just have to print out multiple tickets... they only scan once but get you a lot of bobble heads... shady i know but ive seen people do it.

$19 bucks?  WOW!  MU can lower tuition after selling t-shirts with that kind of markup.

While we're posting links to the shop, anybody that wants the Wade figurine given out on Feb 3 can get it through the spirit shop now.  It is a limited edition though, so don't wait.  There's also a white jersey one that is even more limited (and twice the price) - but I actually like the blue better.  Picked mine up this past weekend.

I went to the game with my kids and I broke 2 of them while putting them together. They aren't manufactured very well.

The shirt's nice and all, but should we really be pointing out that it's been 30 years since we've won a National Championship?

"Championship Anniversary" patches always confused the hell out of me.

such packer patches will continue to be prominently displayed as long as the bears keep failing to succeed in the big one.  It does seem to be a source of pride that the pack has won one more recently than the bears.  Course, even as a packer fan myself, I agree that it is silly.

OTOH, it is nice to honor history periodically.  Just wish it was a collage of historical achievements and not just that one achievement on the shirt by itself.

The Spirit Shop is having a sale Saturday and Sunday.
Anyone who can't make it to town and wants one of these shirts use the code NMD27 for 20% off.
They also have a gold shirt with caricature of the players and coaches from 1977.
