Title: National Prominence?
Post by: MUCam on April 09, 2010, 06:23:19 PM
Nothing enlightening to say here, other than that my wife DVR's tons of television shows. She happened to DVR and then watch a CBS primetime show/sitcom from earlier this week, where two guys were watching bball on the television.

The teams playing? Texas and Marquette.

Nice to see Marquette mentioned on a primetime show. This will undoubtedly allow us to land the 5 star big man stud we so desperately need.

For those interested, the show is called "Accidentally on Purpose."

Caught that when I was too sick/lazy to fetch the remote and turn the channel.  Despite mentioning MU in a fictional NCAA tournament matchup, I still will make it a point to get the remote next time if that show is ever on again.

Hilarious. For the record, I merely watched the 3 seconds it took to get out the Marquette mention, then I fled the room. The last sitcom I watched with any interest involved a character named Balki Bartokomous. Needless to say, I would've probably been better off not watching that one either. The sitcom may be the worst form of entertainment ever created.

That statement, could not be more false.  Long Live Balki!
