Trend barely played but almost had as many dunks as our starters. Could this kid have talent?
I think we may be looking at different dunk meters. I see Blackledge with 2.
I'm guessing they came against the likes of Eastern Michagan and Detroit.

Yeah he had that one game that had people freaking out about him.
I'm surprised Hayword has dunked. I don't know if i've ever seen him jump high enough to, rebounding included.
Ahh.. fun with stats..
2 dunks is barely significant compared to the starter numbers:
Player | Dunks | % |
James | 13 | 27.66% |
Barro | 12 | 25.53% |
McNeal | 8 | 17.02% |
Matthews | 6 | 12.77% |
Hayward | 4 | 8.51% |
Blackledge | 2 | 4.26% |
Burke | 2 | 4.26% |
Team | 47 | 100.00% |
However looking at it this way:
Player | Dunks | Minutes | Min/Dunk |
Blackledge | 2 | 122 | 61.00 |
Barro | 12 | 801 | 66.75 |
James | 13 | 959 | 73.77 |
McNeal | 8 | 848 | 106.00 |
Hayward | 4 | 436 | 109.00 |
Burke | 2 | 257 | 128.50 |
Matthews | 6 | 904 | 150.67 |
Team | 47 | 4327 | 92.06 |
shows Blackledge leading the team.
Bottom line, the dunk-o-meter is just a for-fun stat. Conclusions can't really be made off of it without taking many other things into account (even minutes aren't enough). I believe Blackledge does have talent - I do not believe he has shown it though (not even in dunks).
