Miami Herald's Greg Cote, on Mike Krzyzewski:
"The Indianapolis Star published an illustration that depicted Coach K as the devil, with horns and a target on his head. The comparison was considered incredibly insulting, according to a complaint filed by the devil."
Only an issue/news item with the FF being coincidentally in Butler's backyard. Replace Butler with, say, Gonzaga and I doubt anyone cares about the front page of the Spokesman Review. Grow a pair Coach. It's humor and very funny in the juvenile sense.
Ah, reading comprehension, such a slippery fish.
Apparently that picture was never supposed to be in the paper, but some people in Indy got that copy and some people got just a pic of Coach K w/out the drawings on it. The Star issued an apology to Coach K.

Glad I wasn't the only one to recognize this.
You think sore losers?
I think that it's high time that the NCAA expanded its mascot protection program to all demons; the Devil, Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub, all of them. In order to continue using any demonic name, i.e., the Blue Demons, the Blue Devils, etc., the school must show that they have contacted the demonic entity in question, and received their support for their use of the name. This is the only way to assure that the demonic community is protected from exploitation by the use of caricatures of its members by such schools!

What about the Demon Deacons?

What about the Demon Deacons?
I'm glad you asked. The Demon Deacons were actually the pilot program for this policy. They were cleared to use the name by the Demons. All they had to do to secure the approval was to perform a human sacrifice. They chose to sacrifice one Dino Guadio.
