When I was in college, I was carried on my parents' insurance. Junior and Liam's parents are Canadian. When Liam had his health issues and Junior had his surgery, were they carried under their parents' policies, i.e. the Canadian government, or do scholarship athletes receive health insurance from their universities? Not trying to stir any pot, it just occurred to me that it would be odd for the Canadian health care system to be paying for procedures done in America.
I'm pretty sure that the university pays for everything the athletes need.

I think MU covers it as they are athletes. Or that is what I always assumed.
I think they are covered by the university....but if they were not they would probably have to head back to America junior for any medical treatments.
Correct, athletes health expenses covered by the university

If I add to this, we'll get an obligatory "Hey guys this wasn't supposed to be political" and then a mod will shut it down.

Nope. I don't know what you're talking about. Nothing political here...
