Why am I stuck with the crappy UK Cornell game and only getting the last 9 seconds of regulation and overtime of Xavier KState?
I hope CBS loses all rights to broadcasting the NCAA tourny.
ALso, Dick Enberg really needs to retire.
I'm glad they switched to the Xavier game just in time to see the game tying 3 with 6 seconds left. Would have been pretty upset if i hadn't seen that.
I was thinking same thing. They switched away from MU in its home area to show the middle of some meaningless games, but then the huge ending of the XU game they almost don't leave KY on time. Stupid.
And yes Enberg is great but ancient, screwed up loads of things. Scores. Names. Etc.
I think the CBS execs are either Cornell or kentucky Alums....

Perhaps regionally, but we had the X/KSU game constant in CO.
You don't need to worry about Dick Enberg next year. He is leaving CBS to call San Diego Padres games on local TV. He's one of the best of all time. I will certainly miss him on NFL and NCAA broadcasts.
Enberg did have a few Harry Carrey moments last night but I still like listening to him. Unlike the other game with Len "Mr. Times Out" Elmore. I thought he just screwed up the first time he said it, but then he said it that way 4 more times. Gus Johnson had to pause in mid sentance once because he almost said it. How does he (Elmore) get work announcing?

You, the viewer, picked this game.

Or, at least it was the Bucky fans who wanted to their loss avenged by Kentucky.
If you live in Milwaukee and have TWC you could have switched over to 983 and watched all of XU-KSU.
If you have DirecTv you could have spent just $69 and gotten all 6 days of choices. And all are in HD.

Being able to watch X - KSU last night (while in the area only showing UK) made the Direct TV package worth it.
Dick Enberg gave an awesome speech at graduation last year. It was as close as you could be to having Al give the speech.
I was really surprised when I heard Dick was going to be doing Padres games this year. That's a lot of traveling and a lot of bad baseball.

Ten years I would have agreed with this.
But he actually is younger than I thought. He's *only* 75. Vin Scully is 83 and still going at it.

Even more pathetic, if you weren't in the home area they switched off the MU game in the final minutes to take a commercial and then show the beginning of #1 Kansas vs. #16 Lehigh.
