There may be a lot of others, however these were the ones I came up with.... just looking at week 1 rankings compared to rankings now.

It's a testament to what good coaching can do for you.  He was good, but not this good coming out of Beloit Memorial.  In the post season rankings for that year from the JS, he wasn't even in the top 5.  UWGB showed some interest, but not a whole lot, and the general consensus was that he should go the prep school route, and most people though he would go that route.  Instead he committed to WSU and got great coaching from day one.

Butler was supposed to be mid-pack of a bad conference, sort of like UWM.   Their season wins.

What Tony Bennett has done with that Wash St. team is amazing.  Looks like he's a chip off the old block.

Dick, Jack and now Tony Bennett are great coaches that can get it done.

Suprisingly Jack Plays a different style than that of Dick and Tony

Don't forget about Nick Bennett who is apart of our staff as a grad assisstant

I'd agree with Washington State but I'd throw USC on the list.   Tim Floyd's a very good college coach.

the loss to ASU is why I kept USC off the list... but yes they are a suprise... wait till next year with OJ Mayo
