Tied up with UW. About 15 minutes and change to go.
Amen!!! Unfortunately the refs will win this one for UW! They usually do.
Sorry, I refuse to get my hopes up. Ain't gonna happen. I will have to stick with my plan to use alcohol to dull the pain.

Boy, right on cue...what a horrible foul call against that martin kid on the loose ball.
How did they give UW a TO on that tie up?
Since when can you jump stop and then use a pivot foot? Isnt that traveling?
Wofford just giving them the game!

UW got away with a offensive foul and a travel on that last sequence which gave them the chance for the go ahead basket.

Yeah, that was pretty bad. Wofford going something like 1 for 6 at the line in the second half didn't help matters.
Well, they're on their way to Syracuse. I feel much better now. >:(
Ya right did u see cornell play today? They look very tough
And there goes my final iota of a will to live.
And Bo Ryan once again gets a 13 seed followed by a 12 seed. Jeeze, what next? After Cornell, the 9 seed Wake Forest? I just hope Kentucky can keep cruising and hopefully crush UW if they happen to beat Cornell. I got a feelign Cornell just might knock UW out though - they can shoot it well and have that big 7 footer inside.
Agreed. Some day karma is going to bite them. I have never seen a team get as many calls as they do, or as many missed FT's against them as they do. It is unbelievable being an anti-badger fan, more painful than being a MU fan.
Can you look up FT percentage against? Is that a stat?

Right on man. As far as FT percentage against, I'm sure you can as there's stats for every thing it seems like, but I'm not certain. Stats aren't my expertise that's for sure...lol
Thanks for the unintentional comedy. Marquette lost because of the refs last night and UW wins because of the refs. Classic.
According to Chico's geography this was practically a home game for Wofford. I mean San Jose is right down the street from the Washingtoncampus isn't it? ?-(

Washington player did it last night too. Even worse after the "travel" they called Lazar for his third foul.
Back in the day (I walked to school, barefoot, in the snow, uphill, both ways) if you left the ground with both feet, you could not come back down and still have possession - shoot, or pass - period. I hate the jump stop - absolutely hate it. but to jump stop and then pivot? Turrible.
If you pick up your dribble while bringing the ball up court and just hop, is that not an obvious travel? Why is it okay if you take a shot after the hop? Lame.

Make sure you check in with us for your comedy after you lose to Cornell, okay?

I agree with you on the refs argument but you are stretching it with the home game business. Many Husky fans came on this board and stated what a large number of grads they had in the Bay Area. You are comparing "UDub" with their 30,000 in enrollment with Wofford and their 1,100? Given how many snowbirds live in Florida I would bet there are more UW-Madison grads living in Florda by two to one than Wofford.
I bet 70% of the fans cheering for Wofford today in Jacksonville were cheering for the underdog.

1. There's a difference between saying "the refs sucked" and "the refs cost us the game."
2. Right now, nobody on this board cares what you think. See you in December.

It's so good to have the resident idiot come back here, especially after a win....I guess he wanted to see what Marquette fans were thinking, afterall we're not a rival and no one cares what we think. ::)
Washington in a Pac Ten school with 40,000 students and their 3rd largest alumni base in the Bay Area. There's a reason why San Jose was packed with Washington fans last night. They have a huge school, huge alumni base, west coast based. I'm sure you would be able to follow along, but apparently you aren't able. Wofford is a small college, why would they have a ton of people in attendance? They wouldn't, for obvious reasons. Probably anyone cheering for Wofford were neutral fans cheering for the underdog, unlike last night where the place was decked in purple...I know, I was there.
I have you guys in the Final Four in one of my brackets. I didn't watch your game today, but was quite surprised at the score. Glad you broke 50 points, but you won and that's all that counts. Those kind of results will continue to get you solid white guys from the north that will get you wins but never the stud players to take you on the occasional deep run. Good luck the rest of the way.

The refs can't shoot FT's for Wofford..... and hold onto the ball with a chance to win. TO's decided this game....
Wisky had 4 TO's, and shot 12-19 FT's..
Wofford had 11 TO's and shot 6-13 FT's
Wisky dodged a bullet... they played very poorly... but still won :D
Go Big 11
